Stoneview Elementary School Garden Club

During the SVES Garden Club meetings, we strive to explore the tools of our trade. Together we are working diligently to maintain our garden and enjoy the fruits of our labor by saving seeds for next year, learning how we can make our favorite snacks and dishes with garden-fresh produce, exploring the abundance of the garden harvest and celebrating the harvest season through community in the garden.
Our club sponsors are Mrs. Small, Mrs. P. Jones, Mr. Reynolds, & our esteemed AP, Mr. Carlos Jackson.

Vegetable of the Month

Growing up you were probably told more than once to eat your vegetables. If you were like many of us, you did not like the taste or texture of most vegetables. At SVES, we are using our S.T.E.M. garden to change that mindset for our students. We want them to fall in love with vegetables because they are good for us. And they taste great when prepared properly. Here, we are featuring our very own vegetable of the month. From our very own garden. Grown organically.
